E‑Poster Moderator Guidelines
Each E‑Poster session will have a Session Chair who oversees all groups taking place simultaneously.
E‑Poster Discussion Moderators
The E‑Poster Sessions take place in an open space clustered around electronic poster screens.
Moderators are asked to arrive at the E‑Poster stations 10 minutes before the start of the session in order to:
- Prepare for the session
- Locate the assigned station
- Familiarize themselves with the E‑Poster screen and its functions
Moderators should understand how the E‑Poster screens operate so they can assist presenters with:
- Opening their E‑Poster
- Projecting it on the screen
- Using the zooming features of the E‑Poster display system
Presentation Duration
Each E‑Poster presenter will have a total of 5 minutes:
- 3 minutes for the presentation
- 2 minutes for questions and discussion
Time Management
It is essential that the session remains on schedule. Moderators should:
- Ensure that presenters do not exceed their allocated time
- Ensure that each speaker begins on time
- Help maintain the flow of the session so all presenters can present
Questions and Discussion
Moderators are encouraged to help facilitate discussion. Please try to:
- Prepare at least one question for each presenter
- Ask the audience if they have additional questions
- Ensure that each presenter receives at least one question, if time allows
