Become a Mission Mentor and take charge of team recruitment while providing coaching, support, and guidance to your team as they prepare for the live event.
As a Mission Mentor, you will:
- Recruit your regional team
- Coach and guide fellows as they prepare for the live competition
- Lead your team on stage in Denver on August 22, 2026 from 3:00-4:00 PM MT
Mentors receive discounted conference registration and are recognized during the event. The winning team’s mentor will receive a special prize.

Apply to Participate in Mission IP
We are now accepting applications from incoming IP Fellows to participate in Mission IP 2026.
Each team consists of 3 members. You and your teammates will have the opportunity to meet with a Mission Mentor, who will serve as your team coach and cheerleader, providing support and preparatory guidance leading up to the live competition.
The competition is as entertaining as it is educational, and participants will walk away with enviable prizes. All participants will receive prizes and discounted registration to the AABIP conference. The winning team will receive additional prizes, as well as recognition on the Mission IP trophy, which will be displayed at future AABIP conferences.
