GETTING AROUND SUSTAINABLY

Once you’re in town, navigating the city is a breeze. You’ll have plenty of ways to get you from point A to point B, C and D.

By public transit:

Capital Metro (CapMetro) provides a robust bus network, including MetroBus and the MetroRapid express service, offering fast and frequent routes across the city. Fares are $1.25 per ride or $2.50 for a day pass. As well as MetroRail, a commuter rail service from downtown to North Austin and beyond, ideal for those looking to explore the city’s outer neighborhoods.

Biking:

Austin is a bike-friendly city with numerous bike lanes and trails. You can rent bikes from Austin B-cycle stations located throughout the city.

Pedicabs:

A fun and eco-friendly way to get around downtown Austin, especially in entertainment districts like 6th Street and Rainey Street.
