American Board of Internal Medicine Maintenance of Certification

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 21.75 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

To receive CME credit and/or MOC points, you MUST pass the posttest and complete the evaluation. For ABIM MOC points, your information will be shared with the ABIM through Partner’s Joint Accreditation Program and Activity Reporting System (JAPARS). Target Audience

This activity is intended for interventional Pulmonologists, Advanced Diagnostic Bronchos­copists, Critical Care specialists, Thoracic Surgeons, Advanced Practice Providers, and Trainees who care for patients with bronchology and interventional pulmonology diseases.

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Address individual needs in compliance with their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) plan.

  • Evaluate emerging diagnostic and therapeutic techniques in interventional pulmonology

  • Apply evidence-based approaches to the diagnosis, staging, and management of pulmonary and pleural disorders

  • Integrate multidisciplinary strategies and collaborative decision-making into the management of complex airway, pleural, oncologic, and critically ill pulmonary patients

  • Analyze current controversies, innovations, and evolving best practices in interventional pulmonology
