American Board of Internal Medicine Maintenance of Certification

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 17.0 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit. |
To receive CME credit and/or MOC points, you MUST pass the posttest and complete the evaluation. For ABIM MOC points, your information will be shared with the ABIM through Partner’s Joint Accreditation Program and Activity Reporting System (JAPARS). Please allow 6-8 weeks for your MOC points to appear on your ABIM records. By sharing your Diplomate Board ID # and DOB, you are giving Partners permission to use this information/data to report your participation to these Boards JA-PARS.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for interventional Pulmonologists, Advanced Diagnostic Bronchoscopists, Critical Care specialists, Thoracic Surgeons, Advanced Practice Providers, and Trainees who care for patients with bronchology and interventional pulmonology diseases.
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Address individual needs in compliance with their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) plan.
- Discuss current trends in thoracic disease management to enhance patient treatment protocols.
- Analyze controversies in chronic obstructive airway disease treatment to apply the most effective approaches.
- Describe advances in guided bronchoscopy to improve precision in clinical interventions.
- Demonstrate the application of updated anesthetic techniques in interventional pulmonology for enhanced patient safety.
- Discuss the latest therapeutic options for early endobronchial tumors in clinical practice.
